ISO 9001 Quality Management System

GN Systems was awarded ISO 9002 in April 1999 after three years of developing a fully documented Quality System. Further accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 was achieved before the company transitioned to the latest ISO 9001:2015 standard.

We have a commitment to attaining high standards of quality in the products and services supplied. The company employs its own in-house Quality Manger with responsibility for maintaining all aspects of the Quality Management System. We are proud of our certification which gives our employees the relevant resources to enhance customer satisfaction through effective continuous improvement. Testing

Along with outsourcing production requirements, customers can choose to use our testing and inspection expertise. We provide and build our own test rigs, when required, and can develop commissioning test procedures in line with customer specification and approval. Fully documented test procedures and traceable test results can be recorded electronically.

Preventative maintenance is carried out regularly on our manufacturing and testing equipment and we use third party contractors to calibrate at specific intervals to maintain conformity and the high standards we set. Calibration certificates are issued after every test and recorded for each piece of equipment.

Inspection

The company has invested in AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment allowing for populated PCBs to be scanned and inspected, generating comprehensive reports complete with error location marks and fault classifications, including imagery that can be saved for future reference.

Our Design Engineering team carries the project through circuit development, schematic and PCB layout, mechanical design, to prototype stage and final production.

In our electronic manufacturing facility, we have a team of multi-skilled staff who are specialists within the industry.

CABLE HARNESS

Both small and large runs of cable harnesses and assemblies are processed utilising a full range of automated cutting, stripping and crimping machines.
